“When Mr. Pops of Robinson Goldsmiths announced that he would shortly unveil a mural of uncommon magnificence, there arose at once a great stir and whispering throughout all Bangorshire.”

For it was not often that such things were promised, and never without reason. Mr. Pops, though a craftsman of walls rather than wares, was held in good regard among the folk, and his works were known to bring both wonder and wanderers in equal measure.

Now when he had been entrusted by Robinson Goldsmiths- keepers of fine jewels and rare treasures, his heart was lifted. For he knew well the beauty forged within their walls, and understood that any mark he left upon the old stone must do more than please the eye; it must stir something deeper. Nostalgia, perhaps… or longing.

At the top of the High Street, upon Prospect Road, there stood a wall of weathered stone. It had endured much, yet gave little back. To most it was passed without thought, but to Mr. Pops, it called out.

And in truth, he had long harboured a secret.

For hidden within his keeping… was the One Ring.

He pondered long on its use. Not for power, nor dominion - but for the good of Bangorshire. If its golden glow could be set against the deep matte black of the stone, it might draw eyes from far and wide. A piece not merely to be seen, but felt.

Yet such a thing could not stand unguarded.

And so, he called upon Frodo Baggins, bearer of the Ring, to watch over it still. Set above the piece, a quiet sentinel, lest any soul, tempted by its pull, dream of ruling them all.

The end… or just the beginning.

All in all, this campaign was a blast. Picked up by the BBC, with a proper viral moment across the LOTR fandom, it went wild. Our top post hit a hefty 166k impressions, and with combined posts we sailed past the 1/2 million mark.

Who would’ve thought a bit of LOTR-inspired fan art mixed with brand awareness would land like that…

We did 😜

Big thanks to Robinson Goldsmiths & Noodlehorse Media for the opportunity 🙌🏼

Onwards 💍⚔️
