amazing canvas of Jimi Hendrix

Latest and Greatest colour series (PURPLE).

Started with the sketch, I sprayed the deep background black. After that I stencilled the basic shape of Jimi with various shades of grey.
At this stage I wanted to bring his facial features up so I knew where I stood with regards his head shape. Then I applied the (PURPLE) paint layer, which immediately made it pop. After that it was just a case of build up layers of detail on the face, scarf and magic. Big Jimi on a canvas 🎸
