 The KING is ALIVE, measuring in 122cmx81cm this piece was nothing but a joy to create. From the second I laid down the guidelines, I had Elvis blasting out of my speakers. His music definitely inspired me to keep going and as the piece progressed I could just see him singing those lyrics.

I promise if you listen to his music whilst you take in the piece you will start to smile. This piece is a great talking and viewing point. You won’t be disappointed.

Chose a cool reference picture

Roughly white washed a board

Threw down some guidelines

Applied my 1st coat of Tin awesomeness

Brought the detail back through with acrylic pen

Applied the ‘Darkness’ 😵‍💫
